Tobolsk, 21 February 2019. Overall project progress: 93.6%. Procurement of materials and equipment: 99%. Construction and installation: 94.2%.
Over 6,000 construction workers from Russia and 850 units of equipment are engaged on the site. In January, the operating team (ZapSibNeftekhim and SIBUR Tobolsk staff) totalled 1,668 persons, including 1,450 operation employees and 218 temporary workers.
- 374 km of underground pipeline laid – 99% of the project’s total.
- 3,692,000 DI of surface pipeline laid – 98% of the project’s total.
- 145,000 t of metal structures installed – 99% of the project’s total.
- 6,849 km of power lines installed – 84% of the project’s total.
KEY DEVELOPMENTS OF THE MONTH:
At the steam cracker:
∙ The following technological subsystems were handed over for commissioning and start-up: cooling boiler water fed to consuming equipment, eastern network of process air I and II.
∙ The following non-technological subsystems were handed over for commissioning and start-up: interior lighting and low-power load of substations No. 1 and No. 5.
∙ Oil washing of the boiler feedwater pump turbine and the blower turbine of the high-pressure boiler was carried out.
At the polyethylene unit:
∙ The technological subsystem Instrument air header was handed over for commissioning and start-up.
At the polypropylene unit: ∙ The following technological subsystems were handed over for commissioning and start-up: centralised oil lubrication system, loop polymerisation reactor, recycle gas compressor
In the logistics platform area:
∙ Two bulk loading lines were tested: continuous loading of pellets into eight containers per each line in the polypropylene packaging area.
